Nice achievement of tata78 in the Championship |

Eighteen players took part in the UpperClassPoker championship tournament and among them the top of the leaderboard players well determined to defend their positions.
After having eliminated sam_12, tiltfever found himself fighting heads-up against tata78 with square stakes. The confrontation did not last a long time, after two hands, tiltfever of small blind raised tata78, who reraised. tiltfever after one moment’s hesitation decided to call. On the flop 10-2-J all three of hearts, tata78, first to act, bravely bet all in with Q-6 off suit. Unfortunately for him, tiltfever with 7-3 of hearts in hand had flopped the flush and called instantaneously. tiltfever won $270 on the $540 prizepool.
However, thanks to his second place, tata78 reaped a lot of points in the championship leaderboard. |

Overwhelming victory of KingHenryIII in UCP Championship |

Quickly chip leader, KingHenryIII did nothing but widen the gap which separated him from his opponents and burted out most of the players in contention. Nineteen players have taken part in the $30+$3 freezout Upper Class Poker Championship tournament and when four players left, KingHenryIII found himself fighting against the toughs, nico73, EmmanuelMFr and tata78. EmmanuelMFr eliminated nico73 with a trips of tens, both players beeing all in before the flop, nico73 having nothing less but pocket aces. Next hand, KingHenriIII with AK bursted out EmmanuelMFr, this last having bet all in with pocket nines. A king came on the flop shortening thus his sufferings. Tata78 who began the final heads up with seven times less chips than King HenryIII, raised all in with Q 6 of clubs and was paid by KingHenriIII with A3 off suit. A six came on the flop but was followed by an ace and a three. KingHenryIII gained thus $285 of the first place on the $570 prizepool.

Twenty one players have taken part in the $30 +$3 freezout Upper Class Poker Championship tournament with $690 of price pool. nico73 who was then fifth of the board, seemed well determined not to drop away. He quickly went on to the offensive using a very aggressive play and was chip leader when four players left. He kept this advantage to the heads up match against skymike with two times more chips than his opponent. Three hands later, nico 73 called skymike big blind who decided not to raise. The two players check on the flop 2 8 10. A five came on the turn and skymike check raised all in. Nico73 paid instantaneously with 9 10 in hand. He had flopped a pair of tens. skymike with 8 4 in hand just had a pair of heights and could then only hope for a miracle. A six on the river made it possible for nico73 to burst out skymike and to gain the $345 of the first place.

What an exciting and full of bounces heads up match it was! tata78 who had quickly become chip leader started the heads up match against EmmanuelMfr with two times more chips than his opponent. But EmmanuelMFr managed to become chip leader and with pocket threes paid instantaneously tata78 who had raised all in on the flop 2 T 4. tata78 with K T in hand had flopped a pair of ten and when another ten came on the river he had got the three quarters of the chips in play. EmmanuelMFr made again the proof of his skills and managed to make a beautiful come back gaining most of his opponent’s chips! tata78 then decided to go for broke betting all in before the flop with10 8 of diamonds and was paid by EmmanuelMFr with K10. No help on the board for tata78 and EmmanuelMFr gained $240 on the $480 prizepool and the second place of the Championship leaderboard!

Twenty two players took part in the $30+$3 freezout Upper Class Poker Championship tournament. In addition to the hope to gain points in the Championship leader board and win at the end of the year the ticket worth €5000 for the EFOP Hold' EM Championship, all players where fighting to take a shot of yesterday night $660 prizepool. When still two tables left, jchall9 won a big pot bursting out two players and thus became chip leader. Heads up against sam_12, this last had eliminated their last opponent, and got a stake a little bigger than his but a hand difficult to avoid for jchall9 quickly occured. sam_12 paid jchall9 big blind, jchall9 with A9 of diamonds raised and sam_12 called. The flop came A 4 2, jchall9 bet and sam_12 called. An other deuce came on turn and jchall9 bet again. sam_12 raised all in and jchall9 decided to call, but sam_12 with A 2 in hand had flopped full house, an ace on the river would have saved jchall9 but it was a five allowing thus Sam_12 to win $330 for his first place.
