IG88 new leader of the championship! |
|
With 35 players at the start of this Championship Upper Class Poker tournament, nvsurendr won the first prize of $420 on the $1050 prizepool. Indeed he never surendered and won his heads up against IG88, who bet all-in pre-flop with A2 of hearts in hand. With A8 diamonds nvsurendr smoothly called. IG88 could have been lucky when a second heart appeared on the turn, but an ace of spades came on the river. Both of them got their pair of aces but nvsurendr won with the better kicker.
However, thanks to this second place, ig88 reaped a lot of points, enough to propel him ahead of the UpperClass Championship leader board!

Fabulous increase of Enzo the Kid |
|
After having eliminated in less than five minutes their last three opponents, with eleven players at the start of this $30+$3 satellite, Enzo the Kid and tata78 ended heads up. Enzo the Kid who half hour before had less than 800 in chips made a skillful increase and seemed from then on well determined to gain the ticket.
Tata78 didn’t managed to refrain Enzo the Kid attacks who quickly became chip leader. Having then four times less chips than his opponent, tata78 went for broke betting all in with pocket sixes before the flop. Enzo the Kid who paid with A K, flopped a pair of kings, and thus gained, one more time, his registration worth €500 ($590) for the last Saturday of the month tournament at the Aviation Club de France.
Bravo!

Thirty players took part in the 2006 UpperClassPoker Championship tournament and it’s only after an exciting game that BetlmBluffin succeeds in gaining the $450 of the top place on the $900 prizepool.
With four players left, BetlmBluffin called goloum83's raise before and after the flop and reraised him all-in on on fourth street : 8 T 3 Q, two diamonds. After a few seconds in the tank, goloum83 decided to pay with Ks Qh in hand. BetlmBluffin with 8 9 of diamonds got his flush on the river and thus became large chipleader. However goloum83 managed to end heads up against BetlmBluffin. Having flopped a pair of king with K5 in hand, goloum83 bet all-in. But with two spades on the board and AQ of spades in hand, BetlmBluffin paid instantaneously and again got the flush on the turn, bursting out his opponent.
Championship regular contestants, ig88 and EmmanuelMFr respectively finished third and sixth. They consolidate their positions in the leader board and could well become dangerous for Dr. Mabuse!

But that would not impress grenouille9 who made a splendid increase and succeeded in taking the advantage until the last hand of the match where Fanderam had then less than 2000 in chips.
