Bob Morane defeats his first challenger |

It was not an easy win, as is the case when a super pro meets an underdog: challenger Loorent777 dreamt for forty minutes of nailing down a poker World Champion.
The heads up was wild, the two players showing aggressiveness and audacity.
Seven minutes into the game Loorent777, not the least impressed, had taken half of his oponent's chips but a fateful hand made it possible for the World Champion to come back in charge: his pocket aces allowed him to double his stack. That was what Loorent777 needed to became more careful and be reminded of his opponents status. He then succeeded in some nice bluffs but was clearly at a loss when, having flopped a queen, he paid Bob Morane all-in and the Champion got the better of it with a late King to match his hole card.  Four hours had just striken on the tournament clock and they were only 3 of them out of steaming players, eager to take the money and run to challenge 'bob morane', the masked Heads-up World Champion. Bilou, loorent777 and
Loustool were swapping their stacks with Loustool running wild, going and going then winning All-in in a blink!
Eventually loorent777 steps up and run over his two opponents to reap the $270 1st place prize as well as an online appointment to m fight bob morane. This match will be broadcasted on UpperCklassPoker:

After this pretty intimate satellite (16 players) qualifying for the not-so-intimate Ultimate Saturday tournament held at the Aviation Club de France (Feb. 25th) fanderam got the nerve to go all-in preflop with pocket sixes after to conclude a tough heads-up against newcomer fetard.

 ChetanFR outsmarted everyone after a suspenseful night of 2h47
There was one last package up for grabs tonight and it was a suspenseful night till the end.
1h ¾ into the tournament ChetanFR became a steady chip leader and stayed with a ~25,000 stack for more than ½ h with only three players seated for most of the time. Then came a magic moment when the stacks were levelled with the 3 survivors taking turns to enjoy the lead for a couple of hands.
Had ChetanFR run out of stamina?
In the end it appears it was only a transient strain and ChetanFR made a comeback to run over Fanderam first then BILOU. Neither of them was able to break and cash in on ChetanFR’s bad patch. |
