Congratulations to player Pokerox for winning the 1st package for the Ultimate Saturday tournament held on January 28th at the Aviation Club de France in Paris.

After more than 3 hours of fight to defeat 39 players of the field, our first Champion of the year took a decisive lead over his last opponent: lahire. Pokerox went all-in to beat lahire's KQ with a dominating AK on a 60,125 pot.

The tournament started smoothly with a rather tight game at most tables, then with the Chat flowing in and the ambiance heating up in line with the blinds raises, the players showed they hadn't come just to meet other people over a cup of tea!

In the process some players had a chance to sustain the moves of the 2001 Heads-up World Champion, Bruno Fitoussi, who dropped in as a surprise guest to launch the 2006 range of UpperClassPoker satellites for the Aviation Club de France satellites.
